Meet Your Mija

I’m Nina Morales, a nurse, healer, and disruptor born and raised in the heart of Albuquerque, NM. I’m a proud Chicana, a granddaughter of resilience, and a soul-led clinician walking the line between ancestral medicine and modern nursing. 

Why I Created Mobile Mija

For years, I worked inside the system, from med-surg units to primary care clinics, coordinating care for veterans ,launching reproductive justice projects, and advocating for the underserved. I’ve worn the badge. I’ve sat in the boardrooms. I’ve charted the data. But I’ve also felt the ache of a system that forgets we are human. Mobile Mija was born from that knowing. It’s not just a mobile wellness service, it’s a reclamation. Of our bodies. Of our communities. Of the sacred rhythm of care that our abuelas practiced long before hospitals existed.  

How I Show Up for You

I offer trauma-informed, justice-rooted, radically tender care that meets you where you are... literally. Whether I’m checking your blood pressure, blessing your abortion ceremony, or showing up with snacks and sage, I lead with love and clinical precision. I’m currently completing my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Leadership and Policy, because the revolution will need evidence-based care... and a little magic too.
